I ordered a custom set of CB 714's on May 31st. The set is AP2 4 & 5 irons, with the loft of the 4i strengthened by 2 degrees. I put a 50 degree SM5 wedge in for the gap wedge and CB714 6-PW. Golfpride multi-compound grips built up to midsize on all clubs with S300 shafts. I ordered through Golfsmith and when I spoke with someone today they said the clubs wouldn't ship for at least another 3 days. Looking at a number of other people's experience it seems like they get their clubs in a few days...I'm wondering what the delay is. Is it because of the specs of the order that it is taking longer? I know I'm being super impatient, it's been a few years since I upgraded and I'm overly excited to finish them off with my custom paint fill and put these into play.
