Such a good titleist fan!

I'm pumped! Just got my new set of 710 CB irons (DG S400), Vokey Wedges 52 (bent to 51), 56 (bent to 55), & 60, and most importantly, my 910 D3 10.5 w/ Project X 7B3 setting B-2.  I have the 910 F (13.5) and a 910 H (19) on order for February.

Nice Josh!   How about a report from the field!

I am still trying to figure out my setting.  I'm a shaft setting 1 guy and it's either going to be C-1 or B-1. Flatter lie.  910D3 8.5 Project X 7a3c shaft is excellent.

This is me (wearing a light blue pullover) and my son Leonard proudly presenting daddy's new Titleist 910 D2 9,5 A1 Driver with Fujikura Motore F1 Regular Shaft (65gr).

As there is decent snow in Cologne, Germany I was not able to test it on the range. So all I can do at the moment is look at it and remember my fitting session 1 week ago...

...and of course spending more time with my family.

910D2 8.5 ahina stiff

this gave be the best number and just ordered the matrix HD6 as a 2nd shaft to try. I hope I bomb it with the new shaft

Got fit today by the Tour Van and realized how important it is to get PROPERLY fit.... Short story is leaving my TM TP SQ 9.5 with Matrix X-Con 5(S) behind for the D-2 9.5 with Javlin 8m series in S. Averages a 27 yard pickup!

I was fit for the new titleist 910 a couple weeks ago at Haggin Oaks in sactown and was AMAZED by the performance of the new driver. I have been playing the 905S for the past four years and i instantly felt a difference. My old driver is still in awesome condition cosmetically, but face of my old driver was beat to hell and has been hard to find the sweet spot for the past year. I had the 905S with a 9.5* head and an Aldila NV 75S shaft in it, so the ball flight was in the middle and was pretty boring due to the weight of the shaft. The guy who was doing my fitting had me try many shafts other than the stock but when we found the right head, setting and degree, the aldila rip was just the most outstanding shaft ive ever felt. It kept the ball flight boring while giving the club tremendous feel. I was set to a Titleist 910 D3, 8.5* with the Aldila RIP 60S with a A-1 setting, and I will be recieving it in January. CANNOT WAIT!

I picked up my 910 D2 driver earlier this morning and I already got a chance to try it out! On my 910 D2 10.5* driver I have a Diamana 65 Kai'li shaft which feels a lot better than my old driver. After messing around with the 16 different settings, I found the B2 setting the best for me. I went to the Golf Zone in Wouburn where Rory (one of the pros) and i looked at 3 different 910 drivers and tried them all out on the golf monitor. I chose the Diamana 65 kai'li shaft because it was giving me a little more distance off the tee and a higher ball flight. My previous driver was the 909 D2 9.5* with a Diamana 65 Blue shaft. I wasn't consistent with that driver and i had a tendency of fading it too much. I feel like the 910 is much easier control. Im very happy with it so far and I cant wait to use it in tournaments in the spring!

Titleist:

Thanks once again for providing us with another industry standard!  Got my fitting done at Miles Of Golf in Ann Arbor, MI.  Top notch facility with even better staff,  Very patient, knowlegible and professional.  Kudos to Brent Norton for getting me in the right setting, shaft and flex for my new 910D2.  Even had a chance to play with it one round before our water hazards were eliminated here in Michigan. Ha.  The right "stuff" for me is a 10.5 D2, iilima 61 stiff shaft with the a1 setting.  Now I can't wait for a road trip south next month.  Thanks once again for being "THE STANDARD".

Thanks Titleist!

I was lucky enough to get selected to get a Tour fitting in November at the Titleist Oceanside facility.  I received my 910 D3 10.5 Axivcore Black S driver on 12/9.  Im hitting it better than my 909 D2.  Thanks for the perfect fit and a perfect club!

I was fit for my 910 at TPI on Nov 15.  Between waiting for it to ship, work, a 2 week bout with the flu, Christmas preps, and it seems like a million other excuses, I finally got my first two rounds with it this past weekend.  I shot 71 and 74 (net 63 and 66), won all my bets, and the admiration of my playing partners.  On many holes they would all hit from the fairway then we would walk 50 yards to my ball.  On one par 5 I hit driver 8 iron (although it was playing downwind and our game that day was from the white tees, this is still very unusual for me).

To be fair, I am normally one of the longer hitters in the group but I was hitting balls places I've never hit balls before.  At TPI the launch monitor told us I was hitting it about 15 yards farther than my 909.  I'd say it is at least 15 yards.  I hit one drive into a stiff wind that was longer than I can remember hitting it without a wind (Cathi, it was 18 into a stiff wind and I was across the gully in the fairway hitting a wedge.)

Extremely happy with the club and I'm reshafting the 909 for my son tonight (no, I won't need to go back).  My 910 is the D3, setting B2 with a kali'i stiff shaft.  I loved he feel of that shaft from the first swing during fitting.  I can swing easy and smooth and just crush it.

Great picture Thomas.  Looks like Leonard may not give it up when the snow melts.

Enjoy the family

Hi all,

My 910D2-10.5 (RIP-60 R) just arrived, took it straight out for a round.  It's certainly a good step up from my previous driver (909D2) being longer and more consistant, only noticable downside (besides not having that excellent magnetic head cover) is that on a couple of holes at my home course some rather nasty fairway bunkers have now come into play off the tee.

The club pro shop also just got some demo 910F's and H's, both of which ended up coming out for the round, they were both a step up as well from the 909's...........so just had to order them.

Cheers, and Merry Christmas

Jim

I hit both the D2 and D3.  I was in my local golf shop on the monitor and after 10 swings of each I could tell right away it was the D2.  The numbers were much better for me.  Then it came down to shaft choice, loft and setting.  Found the RIP 60 stiff to be the best shaft with the lowest spin for me.  I got a 9.5 loft and then since I tend to draw the ball and sometimes even hook I changed the setting and not have a C4 setting.  It is working perfect on the range.  Have not had 4-5 hours to take it to the course since it is getting dark early, but it has been very nice on the range.  Good luck to all of you in finding your perfect match. Mine is 910 D2, 9.5, RIP 60 Stiff, C4 setting!
