Just went to a TT VIP event here in Chicago and spent a few hours getting familiar with all Titleist has to offer. If you guys get the opportunity to attend one of these events I highly suggest going. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any TT Members out there that really enjoy playing the Vokey C-C wedges better than playing the spin milled (the ones that don't conform)? At the event we were able to try any of the wedges and I have spin milled wedges but really thought that the C-C wedge just felt so much better. If there is anybody that converted please let me know....I'm giving serious consideration to trading in my current wedges for the C-C's. Thanks
try the TVD wedges the feel is unmatched to any wedge. TFL
As far as I know, the only different thing between CC and regular spin milled is the groove, CC has a much wide open groove, which shaped more like a rectangle rather than a square in spin milled ( not sure if u get my point here :P)
Just received my spin milled with 62 loft a month ago, have to say i love it very much!
I have a C-C 54 degree and like it a little better because it doesn't spin as much on a full shot but my 58 is a spin milled but I am glad it spins more because I seem to hit more half shots with it. Please share how you got the invite to the VIP event. I live in the middle of nowhere so I don't think there will be a VIP event there but I do live an hour from Indy and would definitely travel if given the opportunity.

I have the new Black Oxide C-C wedges. They just take a little bit of adjustment to get used to the ball not stopping quite as fast.
They are very nice. I got KBS Tour shafts in them to match my AP2's
I play the TVD54 KBS tour x flex m grind bent to 53 and a TVD60 S400 bent to 59 and i love them. and really i didnt loose much spin from them.
I just put some new Spin Milled C-C wedges into play and absolutely love them. My new set up is as follows:WedgeWorks 250-08 bent to 51* with KBS Tour stiff shaft (C-C grooves)WedgeWorks Oil Can Zero TVD C-C 54* bent to 55* with KBS Hi-Rev stiff shaftWedgeWorks Oil Can Zero TVD C-C 58* bent to 59* with KBS Hi-Rev stiff shaftI have two rounds under my belt with these new tools and they really are amazing. One thing to remember is that all Vokey Wedges are spin milled, including the C-C wedges. The prior generation of Spin Milled grooves produce a medium trajectory and high spin and conform to the Rules of Golf until 2024, except in tournaments governed by a Condition of Competition. Spin Milled C-C grooves produce a higher trajectory with medium spin and conform to the new 2010 Rules of Golf for grooves and can be used in events that adopt the new rules as a Condition of Competition.

Thanks for the reply Steve, I have some decisions to make. To honestly answer your question, I continue to see more and more guys asking how to get involved in these events but its just solely based on a random drawing. It could have helped that I live in the same town as the event and where the course is located but it was one of the very first events of its kind Titleist has ever done. It went well and I'm sure there will definitely be more and with the feedback we all gave. I will give you one of the tips that the guys from Titleist said to us...stay active on Team Titleist.
If I want the " square grooved wedges" what year were they last made and what are the product markings on the club that would tell me . Thanks
