i, well, uhm got a little steep with my brand new 910 and i skyed it right into the air at the range, the ball was sandy and now my club has a big patch of sand scratches on the top of the club where i skyed it. anybody know a way to get these scratches out??? i cant even look at my driver anymore like this after how much i payed for it!!!!!!!!!!!
That car scratch remover might work, I think it is called GS-27.
You might have to find it at a place with a "as seen on TV" section, I haven't seen it advertised for awhile.
You can buy touch up paint on e-bay....just search paint under the golf section. If that's not good enough you can send the club in to Golfsmith and they will refinish the head.
Ok this may sound stupid but it works if you can get one to work with you. Any good body shop is pretty good at removing surface scratches as long as they are not through the paint. They can just buff the top out and it will be greatly improved if not perfect again. It is also likely this can be done cheaply. You just have to find a small shop friendly enough to help you out :)
sorry man if you didnt look at my handicap then you probably should have, imma 4 if that helps at all, i dont normally do this with my driver, it was just a bad night at the range. thanks for your interest in helping me out though, i am taking lessons normally and your ideas come into conflict with my coach's theorys. id practice your plan but i can only listen to 1 person to acheive my goals in golf. but again, thanks for your interest
