I wanted to reshaft my 904F with a VooDoo XS shaft to match my Hybrid and Driver shafts. Well, while trying to heat and remove the 904 club head from the shaft, I wasn't able to get it to budge. I took it to a local golf store to have them remove it but they couldn't get it to budge even a tiny bit. They asked if I wanted the old shaft and I said if it means getting the club head off, then no, cut it. They cut the shaft above the hosel and tried to drill out the old shaft/epoxy. That failed and they gave up. I now have two pieces of this club.... Clubhead and Shaft. Does anyone know if this is basically trash now or is it possible to get this fixed up?
Thanks for the feedback!!!!
If you take it to any authorized Titleist retailer, they can setup the re-shaft with our Repairs Department. We can re-shaft it, assuming the hosel hasn't been damaged.
