    Hi,

First of all I wanted to thank titleist for this amazing product : When I tried it I didn't have much ambitions but in fact I was 10 meters longer than my current 910 ! Well done Titleist!

So here are my questions : Is the Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 7.2 tour spec S lower launching and stiffer compared to the diamana D+ 72 S? Is the ball still enough workable with the tour spec? How's the feel of the tour spec compared to the d+ ?

    My informations : I tried the d3 9.5 with the d+ 72 S , I had a mid launching trajectory with a medium draw. Swing Speed is averaging around 102-103 mp/h

    Bob,

Yes, the Tour Spec will be lower launching then the D+ 72 S.  The workability will depend on the player and driver model.  You will have more workability with the 913D3 and for players that have good feel with the Tour Spec should have no problem working the ball.  My own feedback when comparing the two, was that that the Tour Spec felt stiffer then the D+ 72 S (My club head speed is  around 105-110).

Both will help to reduce launch and spin, so if you are looking for more of a drastic drop in spin/launch, and the shaft has good feel to you, then consider the Tour Spec.

  4. Hello,

With your new matrix coming out in a couple of weeks on shafts(as i have read in another post). Are there any of your shaft options that will be standard charge and not up charged as b4. Will the list of after market shafts be more available without the exotic or standard up charge? Would like to order a a D3. Was thinking Ahina 80 or pro force 86. i would go with phenom 80 or rip 70 and no extra but if the other two options are standard i would go that way. Just curios, love all your shaft options.

    Hi Nick,

Here is a link to the new custom options brochure. It has the full listing of shafts in our latest matrix. Cheers!

    Cameron -

any thoughts on what causes a ridiculously high spin rate? I tested a 9.5 d3 with a diamanté white stiff shaft. Club head speed between 109-116, launch angle ~11.5 and spin rate between 3900-4400...would a lower lofted club, 8.5,7.5 cure this somewhat or perhaps a x-stiff shaft?

    regards

Is there an up charge for the Motore Speeder? I have the Ahina D+ diamana Stiff 72 and is does seem to launch more mid than recommended low. Will the extra fee for the up charge be worth it, my swing speed is 95-105. I got fitted by a Titleist specialist and he never mentioned the Motore Speeder. He simply said if we can fit you with the standard shafts there is no need to get the exotic ones. Any help or comments advice will be appreciated.

Just for your info if that helps I now hit my drives longer than my previous R11 with the basic Blur shaft Stiff also, now I hit longer and feels a lot better than the blur. Great product the 913 D3 9.5 Stiff. A bit pricey but well worth the change.

    Cheers.
