    Concierge Team,

I currently am using a 913D2 8.5* with the diamana regular shaft.  My current ball flight is high with the 8.5* loft.  With the low spin claims from the 915 D2 should I stick with the 8.5* or move up to the 9.5*?  I know testing will be the key - but is there a rule of thumb?

    Thanks.

Hi,  In general, we have not seen players going to higher lofts due to the lower spin.  From a design standpoint, you can lower spin in several ways.  One way is to move the CG low and forward.  It produces lower spin, but you will also get a loss in forgiveness and height of ball flight.  Our new precision design keeps the CG back so you are getting the benefit of the lower spin, and it preserves the deep CG for high MOI (forgiveness) so that your ball flight is still the same.

We would recommend seeing a good local fitter who can take a look at your ball flight and spin rate and help you select the right head, loft and shaft combination. Mitch Cook over at White Columns CC is a Advanced Fitter in Alpharetta.  He has his 915 fitting tools ready to go today and you can give him a call to schedule your fitting at:  770.343.9025

Thanks - Do you know when the Roswell GA Pga Tour Superstore will have their 915 fitting cart?  And sorry for the duplicate post.

The events calendar shows that a demo day will be at the Roswell SS on October 25th. I thought I might go over and check it out. Not looking to replace my 913s but you never know.
