    Hey Team Titleist,

Just wanted to throw my first thoughts on the D2 and D3 out there.  Went to my club fitter today and was able to tinker around with the 715 D2 and D3.  For reference, I am coming off the png i15 line of drivers.

My first impression was the sound..... LOUD is an understatement.  Each shot literally left my ears ringing.  Very surprised to say the least ... has anyone else had this 'issue'?  Maybe its just me, but I thought I'd put it out there for everyone.

The drivers performed well overall.  D2 had a higher ball flight than the D3 and the D3 was certainly more workable, which was to be expected.

I'll be getting on TrackMan next week to see what the numbers look like and get properly fit for a shaft. (If I can get over the sound haha.)

This isn't meant to be a detailed review (that may come after my TrackMan fitting), but just to bring up something I found surprising.

    Thanks everyone,

    Andrew

I have friends who have hit the new "9"15Ds and they did not mention any loud distractions with the new drivers?  Were you outside during a demo day or inside a golf shop?  Most golf shop's hitting areas are small, contained, and can be noisy with any club.  The new driver's do generate a lot of power off the face.............

    Hey Chuck,

Wow ... Yeahhhh 915 haha... I was too excited when I wrote my initial post.

Anyway, they were hit outside so maybe its just me.  I'll be giving them another go in a week, performance 'looked' great, but we will see what the numbers show on TrackMan.

    Thanks.
