Looking for a shaft recommendation. Will obviously go hit them first but wanted to try and narrow the field a bit.  Swing speed of 105 with driver and tend to have a digger swing.  Obviously will need a stiff flex and any recommendations are appreciated.  Thanks everybody and merry Xmas team titleist!

  2. If you are looking for driver shaft then I would have you consider Alidla Tour Green in S or X.

However, there are so many shafts out at the moment I think you may amazed that narrowing the field would not be in your best interest since some clubs you can take more loft and use a tip stiff shaft that has a lower trajectory and others might have you use lower loft head with higher trajectory launching shaft .... it just come down to the numbers and the feel.

    Good Luck!

    Brandon,

What are you currently playing in your driver? I have actually tried all the stock shaft options and found the D+ 70x to work for me although I didn't think it would be the winner. I also have a Graphite Design AD DI 6x that I use on occasion but the D+ is working very well for me.

Be sure to take a look at the shaft chart Titielst has - this will give you a good starting point but do not be afraid to try options you might not have tried before, you may be surprised. From you digger type of swing, I would assume you may put a bit of spin on the ball, S+ may have too much spin - try the Rogue Black, Silver and D+ but do not rule the S+ out just yet. Get on a monitor at least but try and set up something with a fitter who can put you in multiple options from shafts to driver heads!

Definitely recommend going to a Titleist certified fitter and see what shafts are out there this year.  When I got fitted for my new 915D2 I hit every standard shaft they had plus a couple of higher end before we made a decision.  We decided on the Aldila Rogue Black 70 Stiff.......but I think this is something that needs to be between you and your fitter....and I wish you the best of luck and a happy holiday......be prepared to hit a lot of shafts.......

Thanks for the recommendations! Actually looking forward to trying a few different shafts since playing season here in Nebraska is over for the forseeable future.
