  1. I am interested in purchasing a 915 3 wood to replace my 913 F model. I noticed the 913 F is the smaller head shape and in the 915 F it is now the bigger head shape. My question is in the 915 F bigger head, I have seen one with 3+ on the bottom and another 915 F with just the number 3 at the bottom. What is the difference between these two clubs?

I believe the 3+ is what they call a strong 3 wood, 13.5* rather than 15*
  3. 3+ is 13.5* of loft and 3 is 15* of loft...

The 915 F is the bigger head shape compared to the 915 F-d... the 3 on the bottom is the standard 3 wood. The 3+ would be a strong 3 wood ie. 13 or so degrees. Hope this helps!

I think the 3+ is 13.5 degrees loft and the 3 is 15 degrees loft.
  6. One is the 915F 13.5 degree club and the other is the 915Fd 13.5 degree club. The F launches higher and has a larger club head compared to the Fd. I have used them both and prefer the F, however the Fd has a lower spin rate and depending on your optimal spin it may be for your bag...the F is definitely easier to hit though.
