Dominic- Thanks for the reply..I been working very hard on my swing and just want to be ready for when I pull the trigger to go to Oceanside for the fitting. I have not made an appointment yet just want all the info for when I do. Thanks again, Greg B

After reading this thread yesterday, and going back and forth on whether I should get the new AP2's, I called Andy today to schedule a fitting.  Hoping to hear back from him soon.  That's also great news that it was only a week or so wait time for a fitting session. 

That's great.  A couple considerations since you're coming from abroad...there's a brand new Residence Inn literally right around the corner from TPI.  I wish I would have stayed there because it would have been much more comfortable.  I drove down the night before from Redondo Beach and I stayed closer to the beach at a hotel off the freeway, but it was way too noisy!  Didn't get a good nights sleep.
The morning sessions might be better, considering you'll be hitting west towards the ocean.  Though you might have to wait a bit for the fog to lift (if there is fog)!  There wasn't much of an ocean breeze in the morning for my fitting, but I can imagine the breeze might pick up in the afternoon.

Great post.  I was impressed with the amount of time and attention you received for what seems like a pretty reasonable price.  I used to live in Oceanside and used to go to the center as a club tester when the facility first opened.  It was great then and sounds like it has only become better.  I will definitely consider trying to schedule an appointment the next trip to California.

I thought the value was exceptional.  And to see the change in performance data from the different shaft selections was interesting.

I second everything Dominic says about getting fit at TPI Oceanside. Best thing I've ever done for my game. I live a few miles from there and would enjoy playing a round with anyone who travels in to get fit if I can make time. --Jerry

I have not been able to get to Oceanside from Bangkok but still plan to as soon as I can. In the meantime I have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I play 710CB' 3-PW and have no problem with these at standard lie angles.

The problem is with all my Vokey wedges whereby my impact points tend to be slightly right of center (toward the toe). My results are generally ok but the shots just don't feel solid enough. The impact point on my PW is center and hits are solid. I had the lie angles checked on the Vokeys and made sure they were all at standard and have made adjustments on the range but just can't seem to get the impact to the center or even slightly inside center. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
