The FittingWorks Tour Van is Headed Back to Palo Alto!

Next stop, Palo Alto Municipal GC. The van will be on-site Tuesday, May 22nd to conduct tour-level fittings. 

There are still a limited number of spots available for this exclusive fitting opportunity and this is your chance to get dialed in with a tour-level, precision fit from one of our Titleist FittingWorks Tour Van experts.

Here are the details:

Fittings Available: Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Location: Palo Alto Municipal GC (1875 Embarcadero Road Palo Alto, CA 94303)

Fittings Available: 

  • Driver - provides the proper combination of launch conditions (ball speed, launch angle, and spin) that optimize ball flight and control while delivering maximum distance, repeatability, and consistency. 
  • Fairway/hybrid - provides the correct combination of fairway woods, hybrids, and long irons that produce playable trajectories and preferred yardage gaps. 
  • Iron - Your fitter will determine the best iron model and specifications to make your iron play more precise and enable better scoring. 
  • Vokey wedge - you will have the best combination of wedges to optimize short game performance and create consistent yardage gaps. Your fitter will guide you through a process of selecting the right wedge model and bounce for your swing style and course conditions.
  • NOTE: On-site assembly, personalization and repair services available depending on schedule and availability of components.

Fees:
1-Hour Fitting Session: $150
If you are looking to get dialed-in for a particular part of your game, we can use a 1-hour session to focus on a precision fit of one of the above categories. 

2-Hour Fitting Session: $300
During this session, our fitter can cover three of the four fitting categories listed above.

Hi Mike,

I see a fitting van will be visiting Teton Springs GC (Idaho) on May 26th.  What are the chances of a fitting van visiting Idaho Falls (I would suggest Sage Lakes GC due to their practice facilities).  I am definitely looking to purchase Titleist irons but want to ensure that I get the correct iron/shaft combination for my game.  

I know that TM is making an appearance in the near future and another manufacturer came last Fall but I have never seen Titleist (other than the area rep who doesn't have the fitting tools).  I do not want to get fitted in a box store as I prefer to see the flight of my ball and hit off grass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would do my best to spread the word so that your trip would be productive.

Thanks for the post and the feedback. It looks like the fitting event at Teton Springs GC is one of our regular fitting days opposed to a FittingWorks Tour Van stop. I don't believe we have the vans heading out to Idaho in the near future but I've passed along your note to the team to see if they can help provide any recommendations for fitting options in your area. Hey Mike I was wondering does Titleist do any overseas visits. There are plenty military service members over here in Okinawa Japan that use Titleist products, but there are no good places to get fitted.

Hi Phillip, Our Titleist travelling fitter was just in Okinawa last month and went to all three bases there to do fittings.  I am going to forward your  email to him and he will contact you regarding a fitter on Okinawa.

Unfortunately, Big Sky is not on the radar yet.  There is only one Van for the West Coast and with the US open in California this year, he will be spending a couple extra weeks in that area.  They are hoping to get to Wyoming next season, though.

Hi Cathi, I recently purchased a set of Titleist 712 AP2's 5-PW and was wondering where I can order the 3 and 4 iron from? I tried the hybrids but they are just not for me. Any information will be helpful.
