    I just purchased 913 D2 reg shaft. What is the std weight set for this driver and since I can purchase 4,7,9,11,14g weights, why would I put more weight on the driver. I guess my question is what performance would I gain by replacing this weight over the std. sent with the driver?

    The standard bezel weight is 9g (red dot).  The bezel weight is designed to change the swing weight, and will have no direct influence on ball flight.  Players who may order their drivers longer or shorter, but want to maintain as close to the standard swing weight as possible, will choose a heavier or lighter weight.  Some players may like a to feel a slightly heavier or lighter swing weight, which would lead them to order a heavier or lighter weight.
