  1. I recently purchased the 913D3-9.5 loft- with a Diamana 62S (blue) shaft. It was difficult getting the higher ball flight I had with the 910D2 (Motore 60S). I switched shafts and now have better consistency with ball flight. Can you recommend a new shaft for what I need? Looks like I would need a mid kick point shaft...agreed? what is available in both stock and custom shafts.

Hey Jeff, since you tried the Diamana S+ Blue62 shaft and it was difficult for you to get the ball in the air I would recommend that you try the Titleist Bassara W 50. It should give you a little higher launch. Hope this helps.

    Hi Jeff,

I think that you will get a lower overall ball flight since you went from a D2 to a D3 model. The D3 model spins less and that will mean it won't launch as high. I got fitted for a 913 D2 w/9.5*. I use to play a 910 D2 w/10.5* and that loft created too much spin for me, so going with a 9.5* and of course the right shaft, I was able to get the correct launch angle, spin rate and landing angle to maximize my roll.

I would bring your driver and see what the numbers are on a launch monitor and see what the difference would be between a D2 and D3.

In regards to the shaft, I would try a mid-launch with low/mid spin and see if that helps.

    Jeff,

Get fit. Only a pro and a launch monitor will tell you what shaft will be the best  for your game.
