    Hi Titleist,

I have this Diamana Blue Board 73 X-Stiff shaft which I got with my 910D3 driver two years ago.

But this year I got a 913D3 with another shaft, and I now want to use the Diamana shaft in my 913Fd.

Is it possible to change the SureFit Hosels and how much shall I tip and trim the tip and butt on the shaft, so the shaft will be in 3 wood length and still play to the X-Stiff flex?

My fingers are crosse for a helpful answer.

    Thanks!

No one from Titleist or a Titleist fitter who can tell?

The tip for the 910 driver and the 913 fairway are different and cannot be interchanged.  If the BlueBoard 73 was built by us, we do offer a retipping service to put the 913 adapter on it for $45.00.  Since it would also need to be butt cut, re- tipped and regripped, the MSRP (with standard grip) would be $64.00 for that service.  We don't sell or distribute the adapters, but if you would like to do the work yourself, you would need to tip it 1/2" (assuming the driver shaft was standard tipping by us and is standard length)  and butt cut it 1 1/2" and regrip.  Would recommend dry building after tipping and installing the adapter to check length.

    Hi Cathi,

Nice, I didn't think about the retipping service. It sounds nice, since I rather pay for it and get it done correctly.

The shaft was ordered through my local pro, and he ordered it from Titleist, so how do I prove that the shaft was ordered from Titleist? I did not get any receipt or Fitting Works paper with it.

And second. When I send the driver shaft to the retipping service, do I then need to send my 913Fd fairway head too, so that it can be properly swingweighted, or can they do it without?

    Thanks.

If you ordered it through your green grass pro, it is probably good to go, but give us a call with the serial number and we can check it for you.  You can send the head in with it if you want us to double check swingweight, but we can use the serial number of the head and the color of the weight to get an idea of what the swingweight would be. You can also request a swingweight (within tolerance)..

Okay, so I just get my local pro to send the shaft to Titleist.

Does the same service also count in Europe, since I live here?

The serial number, is that the six-digit number on the SureFit Hosel? Else I can't find anything here.

Hi Chris,  Please contact UKConsumer@acushnetgolf.com as they are the Acushnet office for Europe.  Pricing may differ, but they should be able to offer the same service.
