I have an extra 1/2 inch long X100 shaft on my 712 AP2 irons and the lie is 2 degrees upright. I also have the 8.5 degree 913 D2 Driver and currently it is as it came. I was wondering if since I was fitted for the lie on my irons to be 2 degrees upright I should try changing the driver lie either .75 or 1.75 degrees upright. Any suggestions?
You may notice the lie angle might be different since you aren't making any real turf interaction with the driver like you are with the irons. I would make your adjustment based off of the ball flight you are looking for. The more upright you go the more draw you should see.
