What are your thoughts about the need to match fairway wood and driver shafts?
Currently I have a stiff bassara driver shaft and regular FW shafts. I was fitted for 913D2 driver whilst my FW are off the shelf.
Is it likely that my FW shafts are in need of change?
Generally, you will be pretty consistent with the flex of each shaft in all of your clubs. If you were fit into the stiff Bassara for your driver, you are probably going to fit into a lighter weight stiff flex for your fairway metals as well. You may notice a wider dispersion with your fairway metals and less consistency if the shaft flex is in fact to weak.
