Club fitting Central texas - North of Austin

    Hi there, 

    I am looking for some club fitting advice - I play off +2 and have decided to upgrade my entire bag this month wedges to Driver (keeping my putter). 

    I am looking for an Advanced Titleist fitter in and around the Austin area where I can be fitted for driver & irons but I need the following: -

    1. The fitting session MUST be off grass and therefore outside - I need to see the shot shape and do not like hitting either indoors or into a screen.

    2. I need a launch monitor, preferably Trackman.

    3. I need to hit Pro V balls and most certainly not range balls & 

    4. I am looking at a full bag refit. 

    I have looked at a couple of options around Austin/Roundrock/North Austin as far as Waco but can only see indoor fitting sessions and not off the grass. Hitting balls off artificial turf is so unrealistic. 

    Assistance greatly appreciated.

    If you don't mind the drive to Ft. Worth or spending a little extra money I'd recommend Jim McLeans golf school. I drove 3 hours from Louisiana to do it and it was with every penny.

    Kyle Cronkright is our regional fitter at Jim McLeans (817-303-4370)  in the Ft Worth/Dallas and they have the largest matrix of fitting tools outside of our Tour facilities and FittingWorks Vans. 

    If Ft Worth is further than you would like to drive, we also have several very good fitters at our Advanced FittingWorks center at Austin Golf Club - Matt Klein and Eliot Mays - 512-264-9787.

    I went to see Kyle Cronkright and had a great time. Kyle was extremely knowledgable and did a fantastic job at getting me fit into everything thing I needed.
