I have had such good luck with my 910D3 and 910H that I have decided to buy a 910f 15 degree holdover at my local course pro shop. My question is what will happen if I have them shorten the shaft by half inch.

Have your shop order it at 1/2" short and you can specify the swingweight that you would like to have on your club - there is no upcharge for doing so. If you don't specify swingweight, the swingweight will come out about lighter depending on the shaft used.
