    I'm having trouble hitting my Titleist 913  3 wood off the deck. I hit it great off the T but I either top it or snap hook it off the deck. I have. Graphite Design BB7 shaft and I was told that the new 915 3 woods will come standard with a 1/2 short shaft to fix the problem about hitting it off the deck. Would that be a tip cut for me. I don't want to mess the shaft up because it was very pricey.

    The best thing would be to get a hold of your P.G.A. Titleist rep and have him/her fit your properly. If they end up fitting you in to a different shaft, you could try to get rid of your BB shaft if you want to get some money back.

    I was fit for the shaft and 3 wood this spring.I had good numbers during the demo but I struggle off the deck. Do you know if there is any truth about the 915 fairway woods having the 1/2 short shaft?

    See your local PGA pro and have him check your swing out.  Sometimes we try to help the ball into the air and this leads to poor contact.  A very slight downward strike with a fairway wood will improve your ball contact.  When it sits on a tee we sweep.
