High Launch Shafts for AP2's

    Hi All, 

    Playing a set of AP2's for the past season with the standard s300 shafts, and really like the feel, weight, and workability so far.  I am thinking about changing the shafts in the longer irons (3-6) to a shaft with a softer tip to help launch/spin the ball a bit higher.  I compared my AP2s to my old irons that have a softer tip/lower bend point and really like the old results.  Any suggestions of steel shafts that might work that are about the same weight and stiffness as the Dynamic Gold s300 that will fit the AP2s?

    Nippon has a higher launching shaft that you might want to try.

    I had the same setup (AP2 Stiff S300 DG shafts) played good with them, felt a little heavy at times and battled a low ball flight and misses to the right.

    Got fitted by Cool Clubs in Irvine new shafts =  Nippon Steel 950GH Reg flex and adjusted .75 degree upright and .5" shorter length (I tend to crowd the ball and I have a longer arms for my height 5'8)

    Clubs are awesome! Smooth and accurate......
