  1. Hi

I am looking for some new Irons, i previously had the AP2 irons but found i hit them too high. I moved to the miz MP63 and although the ball fight is really good i found them very unforgiving.

What would be you suggestion on this in the titleist range? I recently tried the Ap2s again but found the height was still an issue with the stock stiff shaft?  Whats the best way to get this right. I love the feel of the AP2s but don't want the same problem i had last time. How forgiving are the CB's in the long irons?

Do you have any suggestions on this?

    Many Thanks

    James

I think most time it's the shaft (and sometines the player ;-) ) who is responsible for an high ball flight. I own the AP2 with DG S300 and the flight is nice. I also own a set of CBs with X100 and I think the ball flight is a bit lower. Both are really great clubs. The AP2 offer a little bit more help, but I like the feeling of the CBs. Go and get fitted to test the club/shaft combinations. If it's still to high think about decreasing the loft of the clubs a bit.
