When can I buy a Scotty Cameron Select? What date do they hit stores?

John W

What does it take to get your job? How long you been a Tour Rep? Whats the best thing about your job? Can I have it? You need an assistant?

Ian B

Kelley,

What a great job you have. I am excited for the upcoming release of the Scotty Cameron Select Putters. When can the public get fit for the Selects?

Thank you,

Ian

( I live in Dallas if that helps or hurts my chances of getting a fit sooner)

How hard is it getting coming out with new stuff? Do you feel you are reaching the end with new designs and are going to focus more on materials and finishes?

Thanks for doing this Kelley.  I have been using a 34 inch SS 2.7H for a few years and really like it.  I am interested in the  new 34 inch Notchback and GoLo.  How will they compare to the 2.7.  Do I order the H version for the same feel?

Guy M

What role does putter length have in the proper setup? I am 6' tall and I feel like my 35" putter is too long. Thanks, Guy

Hi Kelley, What's the preferred headweight on Tour? Thanks!

Ben M

I noticed a lot of different colored cord no cord california grips on tour last year, and a few still this year, like on Gary Woodland's putter.  Will these colored options ever be available to the general public?

Thanks,

Ben

Kelley,

Since the putters have been on tour a while now, how have the black finishes on the Cameron Select line been holding up over time?

Thanks,

Elliott Sienicki

Here's one for you...what putter would you recommend for me using just the following, limited, information... Left hand low (right handed) , forward press swinging the putter inside to square...hopefully. Not great with alignment. Thanks for your assistance and recommendation . I really appreciate it. JD

DOES  SCOTTY CAMERON PUTTERS COME IN BLACK?

John W

will cameron putters ever come in a chromatic bronze finish? will the custom shop be expanded to the point where you can start with a blank putter and add custom stampings in the places where you want as well as choosing the finish and neck style

Hi Kelley,

a question from Down Under.

I've been a Scotty devotee for many years and still own around half a dozen of them, all of which are gamers from time to time.

I've got a couple of Newports, a Red X, a Kombi S, but I'm really looking for something in between my Circa 62 No.1 and my California Del Mar.

Any chance Scotty would consider designing a putter along the lines of a Wilson 8802 blade putter?

That would be awesome in my opinion.

cheers,

Mark

Hi Kelley,

a question from Down Under if you don't mind.

I've been a Scotty devotee for many years now. I've got around half a dozen of them, all of which are gamers from time to time.

My putters include a few different Newports, a Red X, a Kombi S, Circa 62 No1 and California Del Mar.

My favourites are the Circa 62 and the Del Mar but I was hoping that Scotty might consider revisiting the Napa.

Any chance of this happening in the near future?

cheers,

Mark

Kelley,

I picked up another putter recently and was wondering if you could decifer the markings for me.  It is a Newport Midslant.

How many players get extensively fit for the putters that they game with? Putter fitting seems to be a toss up from what I have researched. If you could touch on the benefit one may receive from going through a putter fitting as well. Tony C.

My question is this:  When you work with players at the practice greens what do you do to identify the right "fit" for a player?  ie neck style, head style, etc.  Are there drills or certain things to check?  Watney and others have changed putter styles recently so I'm sure there is some method to the madness.

Cheers

Greg B

Hey Kelley,

What model and length is the putter Adam Scott uses?  It looks like a Kombi but I was told it wasn't?

Thanks,

Hi Kelly,

Can you replace the insert on a Scotty Red X?

Thank you

I have just bought a scotty circa 62 no 2 putter on eBay and was thinking of getting it a tour bronze finish as this service is available also on eBay.  Will it damage the putter head or affect its playability.  What do you think?

Thanks,

Ian

I have a Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom putter that I just took to the golf store locally because the shaft was swiveling in the head. He informed me that the shaft was broke in the head where the pin is to hold it in. He epoxied it bu told me there are no guarantees that this will last. Is there any type of warranty for something like this? It appears to be a material flaw to me. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Is this an option when ordering?

Where can I get the adjustment tool for the big sur long adjustable putter? I recently bought a used putter to travel with and it didn't come with a tool. I have about 6 or 7 scotty cameron putters and also collect head covers, but I can't find the tool anywhere. Thanks

This is an old thread, but it would have been nice to see Kelley's responses in the thread.  I assume he answered people individually through private messages.

Am I able to get rory's putter in left handed?

Cameron D

Johnny,

We offered the same Rory model in a limited option last year (replica), but only in RH.  We currently offer the Select Newport 2 in LH, which has a similar head style and to flow.  That is your closest option.

Has titleist made any center shafted putters in left handed?  If so what models?

DONALD J

I am wondering if Scotty intends on coming back out with the studio design 2 from about 2002. They came in LH but I have never been able to find one. I have a Circa 62 no 2 which is a great putter but still would like to get the studio design model.
