Team Titleist will be catching up with PGA Tour rookie and Titleist Brand Ambassador Kyle Stanley tomorrow morning at the Sony Open, where he will be answering questions submitted from Team Titleist members.Kyle, winner of the 2009 Ben Hogan Award as the best player in college and amateur golf, is playing this week in his first PGA Tour event as a full-time member. He earned his 2011 PGA Tour card with a T-9 finish at Q-School in December, shooting a final-round 4-under 68 with birdies on his final two holes.Kyle will be selecting his favorite questions to answer, so reply to this post with your best question and check back later this week to see if yours was picked. Thanks!
Kyle- How do you think that your mental strategy will differ while playing in your first PGA Tour event, than when you were an amateur and playing in college?
Good Luck!!
You probably could have picked any big name sponsor but you decided on Titleist. What's the coolest thing about being a part of Team Titleist?

What do you find is the major difference and advantage of the new (2011) Pro V over the 2009 version?
Which Pro V do you play and why?
Kyle
All the best for the upcoming season and welcome to Team Titleist.
What are your short and long term goals for the 2011 season?
Deno
Mr. Stanley,
First off, I'd like to congradulate you on earning your P.G.A. Tour card. I'm sure that it's been a long road, but, you finally did it.
My question for you is...
When you're not playing/practicing, what do you do for fun?
I started a thread a while back, here on Team Titleist, asking other members what their hobbies are. I think that it's a great way to get to know someone. When I'm not busy with golf, I enjoy racing motorcycles/track days. There's a few other things that I enjoy doing, but, that's probably my most favorite.
I wish you the absolute best of luck with your rookie year/career. It won't hurt being with Titleist, either. They'll treat you good. Welcome to the "Team"!
How old were you when you turned scratch? From that year did you ever think you would be where your at today?
Kyle,
I had a chance to see you live this year on the Nationwide tour and was in awe of how far you hit the ball.
Aside from playing top notch Titleist equipment, are there any specific exercises that have helped you with your distance?
Best of luck in Hawaii. You're going to tear it up on the PGA tour this year.
Chuck
What's the first thing you did when you got your Tour Card?
Good luck this weekend and throughout the year.
Aloha
Josh
First, congratulations on everything you have accomplished thus far. Your resume is VERY impressive!
My questions relate to the success you have had in the past. How do you feel your past successes set you up for the challenge of being a rookie on the PGA Tour? You obviously handled the pressure of Q-School very well with shooting a great final round to secure your card. Do your past experiences lead to confidence and perhaps certain expectations for your 1st year?
Looking forward to following your career.
Rich
Hi Kyle, I was wondering if you are using a Scotty Cameron putter, and if you do, what model? Good luck in the tournament and your career....
Hi Kyle,
Congratulations on making the big show!!! How have you dealt with the excitement of your first PGA tour event and focused on competing? Also, how nervous were you on the first tee yesterday? Good luck.
Steve
HEY KYLE, I SAW YOU PLAY AT THE NORTHEAST AMATEUR IN RHODE ISLAND AND HAVE WATCHED YOUR PROGRESS SINCE. WHAT PART OF YOUR GAME HAS IMPROVED THE MOST AND WHAT IS THE STRONGEST CLUB IN YOUR BAG ? BEST OF LUCK IN 2011.
Thanks everyone for your great questions! Team Titleist caught up with Kyle yesterday at the Sony Open to get some of his answers, and we have posted the videos on the Tour Blog.
Also, stay tuned in the coming days for a closer look at all of Kyle's Titleist equipment.
Thanks!
