Do you have a question for Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Crane?

Team Titleist will be catching up with Titleist Brand Ambassador (and YouTube sensation) Ben Crane early next week at the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, Calif., where he will be answering questions submitted from Team Titleist members – before attempting to successfully defend his title at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

Crane's victory in San Diego last January was the third of his PGA Tour career. His final-round 70 at Torrey Pines included three birdies in his first five holes and two birdie putts of longer than 45 feet.

He won again later in the year at the inaugural CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia, making eagle on the 292-yard par-4 15th hole after driving the green using his Titleist 910D2 9.5 driver (Mitsubishi Diamana Blue Board 73) with the SureFit Tour hosel in the C-2 (+.75 upright, .75 less loft) position.

More recently, Ben has also starred in his own series of comedy golf videos – "Ben's Workout Routine" and "Ben On Pre Round," in particular – which can be found on his website www.bencranegolf.com.

Ben will be selecting his favorite questions to answer, so reply to this post with your best question and check back next week to see if yours was picked. Thanks!

Ben,

How has the 910 changed your game?

I just ordered one, and couldn't be more excited.  If it can help a Tour Pro, I'm sure it'll help a twilight/weekend warrior like myself.  Good luck defending your title at Torrey Pines.

Josh

Ben,

With all these big name manufacturers, how did you decide to play titleist clubs?  Also, do you have any tips on ways to get noticed by colleges for golf?  How was the process of coming on to the PGA Tour for you?

P.S.  I really enjoyed those videos.

Thanks,

Ben

Hey Ben

First of all,  best of luck for the 2011 season.  My question:

When will the Crane Fitness Van roll up to the next Tour Event, and how many helmets have appeared in the gallery?

Denno

What do you actually do to workout/stay in shape? Or do you really use the "snakeshaker" in your workout? Lol

Hi Ben,

Thanks for taking time to answer some questions from Team Titleist.  I would like to know what is your favorite club in your bag and why?  Good luck in 2011!!!

Steve

HI BEN,  WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE 2011 SEASON  AND HOW DID YOU PREPARE IN THE OFFSEASON TO MEET THESE GOALS.     GOOD LUCK.

Hi Ben,

My question is what do you normally eat before a round in the morning?

Do you go to the TPI Oceanside facility every offseason to get assessed and go through some workouts with the trainers?

Ben - what is the function of the helmet in your workout routines?  Do you wear it for safety or does it actually help in the workout (creating drag, added weight, etc.)?  Have you thought about consulting with Ian Poulter on a tartan colored helmet or a pink one to match the socks?

Ben,

I read that you attended the BCS National Championship game between your Oregon Ducks and Auburn.  How was that experience?  Are you over the loss yet?

Good luck this year!

Your hat is so cool...you would probably win more if you wore that hat more often...right?

hi Ben!

first of all I love your bucket hats! i was wondering how you got started wearing them...like did your favorite player wear them too?

thanks and good luck this year!

Jacob

I have noticed that you compete quite a bit over in Asia. What is your rationale behind competing over in Asia as supposed to more actively on the PGA Tour?

Best of luck for 2011
