Congratulations to Rory

Congratulations to Rory on a great victory in H.K. and congrats to Titleist

Congratulations to Rory! Awesome final round. Glad to witness his performance live in Hong Kong.

So we have 3 great tournaments in one weekend, HK where Rory walks away with the spoils and get within Euro 900 000 of Luke Donald on the European tour, apart from Rory not many of the top 20 in the world playing there but he makes good money and earn some world ranking points on a European Co-Sanctioned tour event, Tiger wins the Cheveron, (his charity event) just made the field of 16 with 4 players from outside the US. 1 winner of the 2011 majors and a fine field of US players in the top 50, Tiger wins his tournament and gain so many world ranking points that he moves by 20 places, Lee Westwood wins the Nedbank Challange in South Africa, team of 12 players that included the 3 players that held the no 1 spot on the OWGR for 2011, the current world no 1,2 and 4 plus the Masters and the Open Champion of 2011, a tournament in existance for 35 years, that has had the top players in the world play there over the past 35 years including, Tiger, and many more, go read the history of this tournament, it is so highly regarded that the world no 1,3 and 4 would rather play there than in the Tigers show, but it carries no world ranking points, a number of the South African events are co sanctioned events with the European tour. so what is the problem here???

Jakes D - definitely agree with your assessment of this week's tournaments and the ranking points.   On a positive note for a golf junkie like me, there was alot of great golf on TV this weekend.
