Latex free gloves

Does Titleist or Footjoy offer a latex free glove? In all gloves that I know of, there is latex in the elastic at the cuff and on the top of the hand. I am allergic to latex.

I would imagine that there would be a good size market for this type of product if it was offered.

I have Footjoy's winter gloves which are latex free, and I use them mostly for demoing clubs (unless they have Winn grips). I would like a regular playing glove if it were available.

I called Titleist's accessories customer service on Tuesday and spoke to someone who was going to get back to me, they never did.

Hi eboos,

I just connected with our customer service team and they sent you an email yesterday with some more information. Please let me know if you didn't receive the message for some reason and I'll work with the team to get you the information.

Thanks,

Mike

Thank you for responding. I did not receive the email. They may have misheard it on the phone. Could you access it through my user profile?

After having a conversation with Mike D., who researched this issue for me, we have found that Titleist gloves, at least the Players and Players Flex do not have latex in the elastic. After exposure testing them several times without a reaction, I bought a Players Flex glove. Still, so far no reaction, and I am very sensitive to latex. The Players Flex glove contains the same elastic material that are also in several Footjoy gloves, specifically the StaSoft.

I have yet to play with the gloves, but I am confident with the results so far. For anyone else with latex allergies, these would be safe bets.

Holy moly!  If you're right about this, I'll owe you a big one.  Right now my only option is to use Winn grips on all my clubs, but it's costing me small fortune.  Plus it sucks not being able to demo clubs!

Do you have any update on how the Titleist gloves have worked for you?  Or have you discovered any other gloves that fit the bill?

Thanks so much.
