I'm looking for jobs to become a club rep or any part of the marketing department.  I'm 25, have a pretty solid resume, played college golf, know a ton about the products and i'm willing to work for free to get my foot in the door.  Can anyone on the forum or Titleist Mods here point me in the right direction to move forward.  thanks

    -Ryan

  3. Titleist Staff,

I am looking at what jobs are available for me in the golf industry, i am a keen golfer and currently play off of 6.6 and i am 17 years old at college in the UK. I realise that i will need to get my handicap down a considerable amount before applying for a major job but i am really only looking to see what jobs are out there in the golf industry.
I like the idea of becoming a fitting specialist or a brand representative, could you possibly tell me what requirements are needed in order to apply for this job?

Hi Harry,  I would look at the Acushnet UK site at their employment opportunities.  It may be that they use college interns so you can see what it is like before you graduate.

  5. Hi I'm Coby and I turned 17 years old recently and I play in many tournaments In Texas and I recently change to all Titleist and I have seen my game improve a lot since then. My handicap is a 5 and I'm working on getting it lower this season. I'm wondering if there is anything I could do like test new clubs or pretty much anything around that area? I would do it for free.
  6. Hi, I'm Tyler a keen young golfer who plays off +2, I'm looking for a job with Titleist in testing or club rep, I'm happy to work free.
    Thanks.

Who wouldn’t want to be a Titleist Rep? I would imagine you having better luck submitting a resume to Acushnet. Also, if you belong to a club, get to know the Pro, OR better yet, the Pro Shop Mgr. They have connections to most Golf Co. Reps. They might be able to introduce you to one who could potentially put in a good word or steer you in the right direction.

I would think that position would be hard to get. People who are Reps probably don’t leave the position too often. Also, there’s a good chance you would have to relocate.

    Hi Team,

My name is James Cecil, I am 25 years old and I am currently studying my Masters in Business (Sport Management) and work as a Salesman at the Golf Clearance Outlet in Oakleigh East, Victoria. Here I sell extensive amounts of titleist gear having a substantial knowledge base of your products. I am a very keen golfer working to get my handicap into single figures and try to play as much as I can around a variety of courses through my membership with Future Golf.
I am just enquiring about any employment opportunities or internships currently available within your sales or marketing divisions? I have a strong resume and experience within the golf and sport industries having worked currently and previously in sales and already alongside some of your sales representatives at Titleist and Footjoy through the Golf Clearance Outlet.

    Thanks for your time

    Kind Regards
    James Cecil

James: Recommend that you direct your job search to the bottom of this site under COMPANY then to EMPLOYMENT. This will steer you in the right direction. Team Titleist for the most part is made up of individuals who are Titleist loyalists, who have a passion for their products. This site is for sharing ideas regarding their love of the game and their equipment. But we will gladly point you in the right direction. Best of luck. Chuck.......
