Thanks for the tip - I am going to cheer on the US at the Curtis Cup in Nairn next month and we are planning on coming back via the Firth of Forth!

There are many great places to stay in St. Andrew's, but I would avoid the St. Andrew's Fairmont (or Bay Hotel). Too far away from the village. I'll be there at the end of July and our group is renting a house in the center of town.
