This might be a dumb question, but does wearing a wrist watch affect swing weight? Given that your watch is very close to the top of the grip and the grip weight can affect swing weight i am wondering what the actual effect is. I have a relatively heavy watch and I think I notice a difference with it on vs. off.
It does not affect "swingweight" of the club, but can affect the mobility of your wrist.
Actually, a wristwatch is a nice training aid that you can wear during the round. If you are releasing correctly, you can't tell time because the face will point toward the target at impact and approx parallel to the target line during followthru. I have one with a thick body but a fabric wristband (I corrode metal watchbands pretty bad) so don't really notice it.
