I use the Golfshot GPS app for both GPS and detailed scoring.. The newer of the two Golfshot apps is better than the old (I've used both. It also allows you to track your shots, can recommend clubs based on your past shots, shows you your scoring average on that hole, you can keep notes for holes...

FunGolf GPS will.  I'm not a fan of constantly fiddling with my phone on the course, so I generally try to enter those kind of stats at the end of a round into the TT app instead.  It's not quite as accurate, but neither are my golf shots.

    Another vote for Golfshot.

Try "The Grint" (thegrint.com) free app. I have been using it for a year. It gives good stats and even provides a handicap. I am also using ShotbyShot.com to track statistics details and guidance. It is a pay site.

I use Game Golf during my rounds to track my stats and I also use The Grint for my USGA handicap.

I've used Mobitee and Golfshot...  IMO, Golfshot is the better of the 2 in regards to keeping stats...

Old school....I still use arrows and hashmarks on my scorecard to track fairways hit, saves around the green, etc.  Once back home, I input into an excel spreadsheet I've been keeping for years.  From Excel, it's easy to build very useful charts and graphs that show in which direction I'm trending.  Like some of the other folks posting to this, I found that inputting info during the round was too much and at times caused distractions.

You guys can also check out our My Game section: http://www.titleist.com/my-game/default.aspx

You can upload all of your scores and we have some great reporting tools to help visualize the trends in your game.

    Cheers,

    Mike

    THanks Mike,

I printed some  on some heavy stock and will try it using tomorrow.  With how easy apps are built today with plug ins and toolkits, you guys might think about adding this and GPS to your app.

Mike is there a way to just see the stats from one year? I like to compare year to year (2013 vs 2014) stats. I can get the list of scores for different years but when I click on the stats tab it gives me the stats for all the scores from all the years. I have created a excel worksheet that does that but I find adding the scores on the Titleist site alot easier. Thanks, Bob

I'm with you Mike, I track fairways hit, GIR and putts on my score card while I'm keeping score.  It takes about an additional half a second to mark these down and then perform the data analysis post round.

Mike, I mark my cards manually as well and then input them to a spreadsheet when I get home.  I'm streamlining my stat sheet this year.  I'm trying to get it to the point where I only have to input my score + putts + fairways and all stats will appear automatically.  My lack of Excel formulae is holding me back.  Would love to hear about your sheet.

I use arccos golf.  It is a bit of an investment up front, but it is so easy to use. You really don't need to even touch your phone once you start a round.  I love it.

I am old school meets new school.  I keep tick marks on the card and total them up and enter it in The Titleist my game stats.  Get instant average updates.  Use to have a notebook and record every round and then run an average every month.  This is so much easier and you don't slow down the game messing with an app.

I use to use Golf Shot, but found it added too much time, waiting for yardages to show, and entering data.

Got a laser rangefinder and Game Golf and have never looked back, way faster and nothing to think about. Just tag and hit...

I use to use a couple of different apps (golfshot, golflogix, and a certain brand that used the same account I use to track my running miles), but I found it was taking too much time and effort on the course.  If I was riding in the cart, it wasn't too bad, but if I was driving it became a pain.  I realized it was taking away from my enjoyment on the course.  And really, that's why I play.  So now I just track as much as I care to on a scorecard and enter into a program later.

I use the GolfLogix app. It works really well for tracking.

This is the one, I have tried them all and they are very distracting to a fun game. Because I use a laser,  there is no need for GPS. Tour Striker App is the best. It is so simple. It tracks every course played and it just tracks your stats.  They made a game of it as well, however when I want to know Greens in Regulation, Fairways in regulation, putts made per round. I have it. Tracks if you drive more to the right of the fairway or left of the fairway.

I can easily get sand and scrable stats by reviewing my scorecard after the round.

So easy to use that I could skip 3 -5 holes and update them all in less than 30 seconds,

Martin Chuck from Revolution Golf who designed the app is a great instructor, I am just sorry that he promotes swoosh. Good luck.

I also use Golfshot. It tracks all of the stats needed to help improve your game. It not only tracks your fairway hits and misses; but, also whether they are left, right, short or long.
