The most bang for your buck? Taking a lesson from a PGA Golf Pro. I really enjoyed playing when my slice went away and I stopped worrying. I want to go back and take another!

Focused on physical training and a TPI instructor over the winter. Improved ball striking from last year. Also updated my bag last year. They work even better this year. So, I'd vote investing in me (not exactly lessons) was the most important purchase.

I am about to pull the trigger on a new putter....Newport 2.

I have researched and researched and the answer always comes back to that putter.

Even better - it flows back and forth so well in my hands....

Practice time on a TrackMan with my coach. But I would always say some type of instruction. Makes the game infinitely more satisfying!

*So last year, my Titleist bag were fulfilled with all clubs Titleist.
*It's also been about 5 years now that I'm enrolled and actively participating in a golf academy where we have a community who dedicates our time in golf to work and learn, share, show & help if we can each other, and play if they're in town.
*2017 New MyJoys Icons- but it's the swansong edition, Asymmetrical with new 2017 collection FootJoy shirts. 2017 all FootJoy rain gears, also. It maybe almost summer, but it could rain anytime anywhere on golf trips.
*2017 Titleist Loyalty Program Pro V1 with academy text.

All of the above molds into one little ball like a Pro V - one of the first lessons from my dad about golf is that, "Preparation is everything in golf!" The Titleist equipment and ball gives me that extra confidence about what I've worked on in golf, and the best wardrobe in golf by FootJoy... Well... Well... Well... ;) It feels as if I could play my best with those three combinations- much like the mind, body, and soul of my game; for me, they're all in equal parts of the chemistry.

  14. My new 917 D2 driver has really changed my game off the tee! Lessons too are always good though...

Hour long lesson at the Greenbrier. Hands down, best money I've spent in a long time.

New 917 driver and fairway, helped all my approach shots be shorter. And an entire winter on the practice green
  17. For me it was a new Scotty Cameron last year - dropped handicap by 2 strokes.
  18. Today (April 11th) marks one year since I started playing so in the last twelve months I have purchased Titleist irons (AP1 716), fairway (915H), StaDry bag, Titleist umbrella, Titleist caps (StaDry and ball marker), balls (NXT Tours until I don't lose so many), wedges (Vokey 52* and 60*) Titleist ball marker and a load of Footjoy gear including DNA shoes. I have spent enough for a week or two....lessons next I think.
  19. I switched over from swoosh last June after the news broke out. I'd worked all summer to raise about $2.5k. My boss made a deal with me to buy new equipment, and as a Lefty, my options are very limited. As good as the equipment is, the best part of the purchase had to be the custom club fitting. I cannot emphasis how important it is to get custom fitted. I have tinkered with building my own clubs, but I have never hit the consecutive amount of quality shots after being properly fitted for my Titleists. It was about $150 for the fitting session with Tim Sygerich over at Westhaven Golf Club, and I would pay $300 now that I know how much of an impact it makes. Other than that, my custom midsize staff bag is a close second, haha :)
