My AP1 PW is 45 degrees so my current vokey wedge set up is 50, 54 and 60.
If I change to AP2 the PW is 47 degrees so should I go for one degree stronger loft to 46 to maintain current wedge set up or leave at 47 and go 52, 56 and in the vokey wedges ?
My 680MB's were recently re-lofted to the current MB set-up that Titleist offers, and this affected my wedge set-up as well. What I did was get my 54* re-lofted to a 52* since the PW set-up is 48*. Why not take your current PW to a fitter and have the loft adjusted to 47* vice buy a different wedge and subsequent wedges for your set-up? Just a thought and something to look into. Hope this helps.
Bob Vokey has a rule of thumb that you should have a gap of 4 to 6 degrees between wedges from your PW. It would make more sense to take the AP2 PW of 47 degrees and have it bent to 46 degrees and keep your current wedge set up. My set up is PW 46, 52-08, 58-08. It was PW 46, 50, 54 and 58 but I have added a hybrid to replace a long iron and needed to go with the 3 wedge set up instead of 4 to meet the 14 club rule so I got the 52 and took out the 50 and 54.
If you're already comfortable with your 54 and 60, I'd say to keep them. You probably know how far you hit those two clubs and what kinds of shots your can hit with them.
You could then maybe replace your 50 with a 48 degree wedge, either by bending the AP2 PW, or going with a Vokey 48.
Wow, after checking the AP1 specs, I never realized there was such a big loft difference between them and the AP2's.
Well it's been a while but i have finally changed to AP2's (712). I have gone for 3 iron to PW. I have to say that I should have done this a long tome ago because they are superb. I am 10 handicap and always worried that I was not good enough for forged irons but the AP2's are fantastic. Still getting used to the weaker lofts than AP1's ( 2 degrees weaker on short irons and 1 degree weaker on long irons) so hopefully I can re-adjust fairly quickly. I don't want to change my 50, 54 and 60 degree vokey wedge set up but the 50 degree is too close to the 47 degree AP2 PW. I have the 910 D2 9.5 degree driver and 910Fd 15 degree 3W so I am considering dropping 50 degree vokey and buying a 910H 19 degree hybrid. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I have the same but went with the 5 wood instead. I have a 54, and 60 vokey wedges and love them!
Lou GWhy not bend the 50 to 51 and the 54 to 55?

While the true answer relies on your gaps, I would recommend the following:
47* AP2 PW
Bend your current 50* 1 weak (51*)
Bend your current 54* 1 weak (55*)
This is likely your most inexpensive approach and would maintain a degree of consistency as it relates to your gaps.
