Hey guys, just joined the discussion board. Little about myself, I'm a retired Police Officer/ Investigator after 25yrs. I'm 52 yrs old living here in Virginia. I've played a few rounds of golf past 3yrs. I bought a old set of TM 2.0 Burners, and a RBZ Driver. Now I'm retired I want to up my game and dedicate myself to keep off the couch and enjoy life. I've decided I want to invest in a set of Titleist clubs from head to toe. I'm just glad to be here to listen and learn and discuss Titleist made products. Thanks

Welcome to the group and enjoy your retirement! Familiarize yourself with the TT site and check out the Events tab; you'll find different sponsored TT events (some may be in your area or within driving distance of your home). These are great opportunities to meet other TT members and Titleist enthusiasts.

Once you're ready to full Titleist, make arrangements for a fitting with the Titleist Fit Crew. They'll get you dialed in with the correct sticks. Again congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your service.

Welcome Turk. Glad to hear your interest in a full Titleist set. My only advice would be to get a proper fitting. The rack prices and a custom set price are the same as long as you do not go with a premium shaft. They will build it to not only fit your swing but also your physical needs (longer, shorter, upright, or flat). You will be much happier playing clubs that maximize your ability instead of trying to adjust your swing to accommodate clubs that do not fit. Enjoy the golf and maybe we meet some day at a future Team Titleist event.

Congratulations on your service and retirement. I’d suggest finding an on course fitter and let that person suggest if you should start with clubs or lessons.
Or if your first priority is irons, putter, wedges, or metal woods.
  7. Welcome to the group. I’m sure most here would agree, get fitted, it’s an experience that will help ensure you’re playing clubs that are best for you, with proper shaft/loft/lie.

Welcome to the group Turk! I echo what Dale Said. Get a proper fitting and you'll be happier than just getting something off the rack. I would get fit for wedges too. I seem to use those quite a bit in a round of golf!
