I bought my AP2 712 irons in May 2012.  They are truly beautiful irons.  I've played about 15 rounds this year.  While cleaning them up for winter storage (I live in New England), I noticed that the paint was coming off on the sole of my pitching wedge.  I realize I hit that a lot.  I'm just wondering if that is to be expected after such limited use; or should I be disappointed?

Hi Philip,  The paint should not be coming off.  Please take your irons into your local pro shop and have them set up a Warranty inspection and repair.  Have your shop ask for an expedited call tag and we can get these taken care of as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please call us at Team Titleist - 1-888-TITLEIST

    Hi Cathi,

I am having the same issue with my 9 iron. I received my set in the mail in September so after about 3 months it has started to come off. I purchased online through TGW.com. Do I do the same through TGW.com?

TGW is an authorized shop so they can set that up for you or you can take it to your local pro shop.  Just make sure they ask for a call tag.

    Hi Cathy -

    This is great news.

I purchased them at my local Golf Galaxy (91 Middlesex Turnpike  Burlington, MA 01803).  Do they qualify as a 'pro shop' where I can take them, of do I need to go to a golf club 'pro shop'?

Hi Philip - Yes they do and there should be no charge for shipping or the warranty work as long as they request a call tag from our Warranty department.

    Hi Cathi -

I dropped them off yesterday and was informed they were shipped out today.  Can you give me an idea of what Titleist will likely do when you receive them; i.e. what is involved in a warranty review?  Will you simply repaint them?  Also, when they are returned, will I receive any confirmation as to what was discovered or performed?
