Shafts for AP2

  1. I purchased some AP2 (712) irons last fall.  Love them except the ball flight is really high.  My shafts are true temper superlite regular flex.  I was fitted for the clubs along with the shafts but it was on a really windy day so not sure how accurate ball flight was on that day.  My swing speed was right of the edge between regular and stiff (80 mph with 6 iron).  Any thoughts on alternative shafts or flex that might help bring ball flight down (I take lessons so am addressing swing factors that might create too high of a ball flight).  Thanks for any thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.

    Might have to go with a heavier shaft weigh or go stiffer like X100. I would go back to where you
    got fitted and ask for a professional advice.
