My wife and I were playing with another couple on Veterans Day, Sunday 11 Nov 12. My wife who has played only 11 years already has three holes in one, all three with Titleist ProV1 balls personalized with her nickname "Wannika" because she is a wannabe "Annika." I made my second ace about 30 years ago, and I was really feeling the pressure to get back to all square. The 14th hole at our club is relatively short, but played into a 20 mph headwind that Sunday. I chose to knock down a Titleist AP2 9-iron and let it fly. The ball looked good all the way, landed about a foot right of the hole, bounced forward and to the left, then backed into the hole. Very cool! My male playing partner and I watched it the whole way, but the girls were busy talking with each other as they walked to the forward tee, so the first they knew of it was when he and I yelled out with joy. It was a great way to enjoy the benefits of our soldiers' sacrifices.
