At some point during the back nine, I began playing with a beat-up ball that had an obnoxious company logo. My dad (playing partner) commented on the ball after my putt on 16 and said, “Why are you playing with such a nasty ball?” I replied by saying that I wasn’t too concerned with the ball, plus the round was almost over. He insisted that I finish the round with a better ball and gave me a brand new Pro V1 from his pocket. I reluctantly took the ball and proceed to have my first hole in one on the next shot. It was a 212 yard shot with my 4 iron that bounced 20 feet from the hole and rolled into the cup. Needless to say, I put the ball in my pocket for the remaining hole and now I can tell people that my newly framed ball only experienced one shot! I'm pretty sure I'll be playing with Pro V1's more often now!
