my first hole-in-one happened on Saturday August 10, 2013 on the 16th hole at Willow Creek Country Club in Mount Sinai, NY. The hole was playing about 125 yds with wind in our face. The pin placement was behind a big bunker. the 16th hole is the course's signature hole. You have to hit over water onto the green. I used an eight iron and threw my ball right at the stick, I knew it was a great shot but unfortunately I didn't see the ball go in, guys I were playing with did see it go in, they said the ball hit 2 ft. behind the pin and rolled back in, I did get to fix the divit and pull the ball from the cup!! what a great feeling!!
