3rd Ace

Played on Sunday, October 11th, a beautiful day. Was the last to tee off on the 14th, 160 yard hole. Normally a 6 iron since a slightly elevated green. With about a 10mph breeze I decided on the five. Set up for a draw to keep the ball flight low. Ball flew over a bunker turning left, just as envisioned in my minds eye. Walked on the green with two wedges and a putter yet saw no signs that it was short as my opponent conveyed. Was thinking it may have ran over... not. Pin was a third of the way and was in the center on the green. Walked to hole feeling good and became excited and amazed while raising my arms in victory seeing my Titleist in the bottom of the cup. Five dollars a man, from the scats total, was a cheap payment for the sweet tasting pint at the 19th hole. Looking forward for my fourth.
