On June 30th 2013 my life changed for the better. It was a hot summer day and my friend Joe had told me he made a tee time for 9:30 A.M. and I was overjoyed for I love the game of golf. I shot a decent score on the white 9 course but it wasn't anything to brag about. As we reached the red 9 we had to wait about 15 minutes for the foursome in front of us. During these 15 minutes I was sitting on the grass waiting anxiously to tee off. As I approached the tee box of the 98 yard downhill par 3 Joe said to me, "I've never seen the ball go right in the hole." I chuckled a bit and replied, "me neither." I then took a pro v1, #3, ball out of my pocket and dropped it in front of me and gave my 56 degree sand wedge a full swing. I looked up hooping to see it land on the green. To our surprise it bounced 10 feet short and right of the hole and went directly in without rolling!! We both jumped around and screamed with excitement as I had never felt so accomplished in my life! As I approached the hole the foursome in front of us had been standing on the 2nd tee box waiting to tee off and saw the entire sequence of events. They yelled in excited for none of them had ever seen a hole in one before. I will never forget that day and because of that hole in one I will never use any other golf balls than Titleist brands.
