We were playing the 11th on the Prairie course at Green Meadow in Hudson, NH. It was playing 163 yards, I hit my 4 iron, and watched my yellow DT Solo roll towards the cup, and from the tee it looked to be another near miss. As I was drive up to the green we could still see the ball but our 1st group was all excited and saying I had a HIO but I figured they were giving me a hard time, When I walked over to the cup the pin was leaning forward had kept the ball from dropping into the cup, so when I straightened the pin in did drop in. So what makes it an unusual HIO is that I hit it off the tee and also got to see it drop to the bottom of the cup. Probably aren't many HIO where the same guy that hits it also gets to see in drop in the cup. I felt very lucky since it was my 1st HIO after 40+ years of enjoying the game.
