LPGA Tour Heads to Carlsbad

Posted: March 22, 2010

The LPGA Tour will be in the back yard of Titleist's West Coast operations this week as the players compete in the Kia Classic presented by J Golf at the famed La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad.  This inaugural event boasts a stellar field that includes seventeen of the top twenty players in the Rolex Rankings as well as the winner of the first two events of the season on tour.  In all, 144 players will be competing for $1.7 million in prize money over 72 holes on the 6,646 yard par-72 layout.

Team Titleist will be on hand this week at La Costa to provide updates and notes on the event and the Titleist loyalists in the field.  Tickets are still available for the event, so be sure to pick some up and let us know if you're heading out to La Costa.  Hope to see you there!

This is going to be a really exciting event.  There's an amazing amount of "pent-up demand" to see the top women golfers back  in the continental US ... seems like they've been gone for a while.
