The PGA Tour headed down the coast of California this week and set up shop in Pacific Palisades for the 2014 Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club.
And as the first tee shots were launched on the historic and famed course, Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls with 86 players in the field of 144 trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than four times the nearest competitor with 21.
Titleist was also the favorite in the sand, lob and approach wedge (134) and putter (53) categories.

FAST FACTS: The Northern Trust Open is one of the longest standing events on the PGA Tour. It was first played in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open.
Last year, Titleist Brand Ambassador John Merrick became the first Los Angeles County native to top the leaderboard in the event's history.
