On the Range with the #1 Ball in Golf at the 2014 Honda Classic

Posted: March 1, 2014

The PGA Tour begins its Florida swing this week and Team Titleist was on site as players prepared for the 2014 Honda Classic at PGA National.

And as was the case throughout the Tour’s west coast swing, here in Palm Beach Gardens Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls with 84 players in the field of 144 trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than four times the nearest competitor with 20.

Titleist was also the favorite in the sand, lob and approach wedge (123) category.

Check out the slideshow above and see what #TeamTitleist was up to this week.

FAST FACT:  Titleist Golf Ball loyalist Michael Thompson captured his first career PGA Tour victory at last year’s Honda Classic, trusting his Pro V1x golf ball to a two-stroke victory.  Titleist Brand Ambassador Geoff Ogilvy was runner-up.

Find it interesting that I counted 15 clubs (driver, fairway, hybrid and irons) in Peter's bag....wasn't sure if there were two putters in the bag or not....if so then there were 17.......hope his caddie remembered to get the loop legal......just found it interesting.....dangerous combination.......
