This week we are in stunning Crans-sur-Sierre for the Omega European Masters!

This week is one of the players' favourite stops on the European Tour - Crans-sur-Sierre seems to be loved for the great atmosphere in the town as much the spectacular course and views.

But it is serious business this week, as the Race to Dubai hots up and players seek places at the season finale.

At 6,891 yards and playing to a par of 71, the course is not overly long. But small firm greens will make scoring tough and accurate approach shots will be needed to be in the mix come Sunday.

At the time of writing, Titleist ball loyalists Robert Coles and Rhys Davies are sharing the clubhouse lead with one other at -5.

This week's venue - The Centenary Course at Gleneagles.

It's been nearly a month since the European Tour had an event - the Austrian Open, won by home favourite and Titleist ambassador Bernd Wiesberger.

But attention is firmly on Gleneagles for The Johnnie Walker Championship, as players vie for the final places in the European Ryder Cup Team.

The event is played over the 7,296 yard, par 72, Centenary Course at Gleneagles, which will host the 2014 Ryder Cup. Players will see a few differences this year, as the 6th, 9th, 12th and 18th holes have all been remodelled - attracting positive comments from a variety of players via Twitter!

And it was a very busy week for the Titleist Tour Team as many players took advantage of the Tour Truck being on hand again.

Here at Team Titleist, we have a lot of different conversations around one of our favorite topics - Titleist golf balls. The dialogue ranges from in-depth reviews of technology and performance to team members talking about the stand-out shots from over the weekend.

As avid golfers, there's also a lot of talk about our own games and what some might call on-course superstitions (we prefer to call them routines). Earlier in the year, we asked a few colleagues how they lined up their Titleist golf ball on the tee and on the green. As you might imagine, there were a lot of different and interesting answers. 

So we figured, let's hear what some of the best players in the world have to say. With our trusty camera in hand, we hit the road and caught up with a number of Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists on the practice tee to get their story.

"I'm not superstitious, but I like to tee it up the same way every time," said Titleist Brand Ambassador Rory McIlroy. "I line the Pro V1x logo on the side, I usually line it up going towards the target."

Titleist Brand Ambassador Geoff Ogilvy has an entirely different approach, "I like to see nothing, so I usually hit the Titleist logo, because that's the best way to have it completely plain on top."
