Back in Play

So, the team reached out to The Golfers Journal and Broken Tee Society with a specific ask: find obsessive, committed golfers of varying ability who all share one thing—they’ve decided it’s better to keep driver in the bag.

Tim didn’t need much convincing to give GTS a shot. He’d been struggling with unpredictable driver performance for over two years, experiencing nearly 50 yards of dispersion despite making what felt like a consistent swing.

Zach had never been fit for a driver in his life. He bought his driver directly off the rack and had been living with the consequences—a big miss right, a duck hook left, and no understanding of why it was happening.

Ram had the game to be a great driver of the ball. But a persistent slice that could abruptly flip to an OB-bound pull. His own analysis said it all, “the strength of my game is basically leaving this club in my bag.” 

With these three players ready to confront the club they’ve been avoiding, Titleist called in our brand partners Piers Ward and Andy Proudman from Me & My Golf, alongside Titleist Fitting Specialist Lucas Bro. Together, their goal was to diagnose what was killing the confidence for Tim, Zach, and Ram—and find the GTS fit that could transform driver from an unused club into an advantage they wanted to put back in play on every hole.
