Chris Baingo began his career at Titleist in 2016 as a Product Specialist, helping golfers in the Northern Los Angeles area and conducting over 100 fitting days per year. In 2022, he transitioned to the Consumer Fitting Team at Titleist Performance Institute as a Senior Club Fitting Analyst. It was here, working at TPI that Chris developed a deeper understanding into the power of advanced fitting and the success that players could experience with the proper equipment.
In May of 2024, Chris was promoted and now works within the Titleist Tour Department as a Next Generation Club Fitting Analyst. In this role, Chris is responsible for working with some of the most promising junior and collegiate players in the game.Chris was born in Thousand Oaks, CA. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, and golf. Taught by his father, Craig, Chris's love for the game of golf grew, as did his skill. He played college golf at College of the Canyons from 2009 to 2010, then qualified for the 2011 US Amateur at Erin Hills as well as the 2012 US Amateur at Cherry Hills. He turned professional in the summer of 2012, playing mini-tour golf for the next three years on the E Golf Tour and the Golden State Tour, traveling throughout the East and West Coasts. The high point of his professional career came in 2013, when he earned medalist honors in US Open local qualifying.
As his personal and professional goals shifted, Chris decided to pivot from his tour aspirations. He regained his amateur status in 2017 and qualified for his third US Amateur in 2018 at Pebble Beach, CA.
Chris married his wife, Nikki Baingo in May of 2021, and they welcomed their first child, Cooper in May of 2025.
