Who is Left Dash for?

Q: What players would benefit most from new Left Dash?

A: When talking about Dash players, we’re not talking about the majority of players out there. That’s still Pro V1 and Pro V1x. Dash players are looking for very low spin but with high flight similar to Pro V1x. Typically, it's because they're “high-spin players”. In some cases, they spin the ball too much with their irons and wedges, and even their driver and they're looking to bring spin down. They can do that through a product like Pro V1, which is lower flying and lower spinning than Dash, however, Dash players are looking for that high flight like Pro V1x. So given these players’ needs, they’re getting the best of both worlds with Pro V1x Left Dash.

Q: What does it mean to be a high spin player?

A: Before they’ve found their way into Left Dash, generally a “high-spin” player might see approach shots zip back and off greens or they might have trouble with longer shots ballooning into the wind. Because Left Dash is low spin in the long game and lower spin into the green than say a Pro V1, they're able to hit that wedge shot and see it drop and stop where they want it to. They're able to flight their irons or even drivers, into the wind, and get that penetrating trajectory. So if you're a player struggling with those two things, check out Left Dash, it may be the ball for you.

Q: How does Left Dash compare to Pro V1 and Pro V1x?

A: Compared to Pro V1, Left Dash flies higher, is lower spinning in the long game, provides less spin into the green and has a firmer feel. Compared to Pro V1x, Left Dash also has lower long game spin and spins less into the green while having the same or slightly lower flight. Left Dash also has a slightly firmer feel than X. It’s important to note, whenever we talk about greenside performance, the key to any Pro V1 product is tour validation. Does the golf ball have the greenside spin necessary for me to hit that shot and have it stop? That's paramount in any Pro V1 or Pro V1 x product and certainly true for new Pro V1x Left Dash. It has that Tour validated stopping power.
