I was wondering what changes were made by Titleist to the old AP2 model that appealed to Faxon?

When are you gonna put up pics and specs of all the new iron releases... they all look great, btw.

Yes, LH models will be available for all four of the new irons.

No new staff bag designs are currently planned.

I really like your AP line of irons and have been contemplating buying a set of the AP2s.  Is the purpose of the TPU insert ("legs") to enhance the feel of the club and provide a less muted feel compared to the current AP2s?  Could you describe the difference in feel?

How was "improved shot control" accomplished with the new design?

Complete product details, including specifics on the improvements made to AP2, will be available on Titleist.com in early fall.  Until then, we can tell you that the new Tuned Feel System in the back cavity further reduces low frequency vibration to provide a soft, solid feel.

Any plans for a 2-iron in any of the iron offerings?

I like it! The MB and CB look like the 690s! Would it be a new series combining both like the 735.CM? Or will it be possible to make the combo we want from MB and CB?

Sets will be available for custom order in any combination the consumer desires, across each of the four new models (and within length, lie, and loft customization limits).

Why would one be inclined to play the new AP2s vs. the new CBs (and vice versa).  They both are a tour proven, players' cavity back, that offers forgiveness and shot making capability right?  So just looks . . . ?  Do you expect the pro's to stick with their trusty AP2s, or get off the bandwagon and switch to the CBs?

Is the size of the club head on the new AP1s smaller (i.e., more midsize) compared to the current version?  Is the forgiveness improved with added emphasis on heel/toe weighting?

The dual cavity design and multi-material construction of AP2 make it a slightly more forgiving iron than CB, while CB's traditional blade design offers slightly more workability than AP2.  Comments on all of the new irons from Tour have been extremely positive thus far.

I JUST bought the original AP2s and they have yet to come in.  Just read about the change.  Now Im wondering if I should change my order to the new AP2s.

Courious why the design change is so soon after releasing the original AP2s?  Was there so much feedback Titleist felt the need to change right away?

By the way, I'm a Titleist guy.  Playing with the no stamp DCIs.  Have been since 96.  Great irons.
